Attractions:

Miniature Wonderland
The number one touristic attraction in Hamburg. You will get a glimpse of it before the conference dinner on Wednesday.

Michel
One of Hamburgs emblem buildings. You can get up to the tower to have a wonderful across Hamburg.

Elbphilharmonie
The new concert hall of Hamburg and another emblem building of the city. Tickets are usually sold out within minutes after they are published on the website. So, no chance to get to see a concert this week. However, you can get up to a promenade that circles the building and that offers a nice view across the harbor.

Planten und Bloomen
Beautiful park right in the middle of Hamburg and in walking distance from the conference venue.

Landungsbrücken
A floating dock with nice historic buildings. The harbor boat tour will start here. Good place to get a  „Fischbrötchen“ (fish in bread roll).

Speicherstadt & Hafen City
The Speicherstadt is a part of the city dominated by old warehouses the merchants used to store goods in former centuries. Our conference dinner will take place there.

The Hafen City (Harbor City) is located adjacent to the Speicherstadt and is a new part of the city dominated by modern architecture. Good for a walk.

Hagenbecks Tierpark
A beautiful zoo in the heart of Hamburg and the only zoo in Germany that is privately owned.

Treppenviertel in Blankenese
The staires-quarter in Blankenese is probably the most beautiful suburb of Hamburg. As the name implies, you will need to walk a lot of staires, but the view across the river Elbe will be worth it.

Beaches along the Elbe
Yes, we have beaches in Hamburg along the river Elbe.

Chocoversum
If you like chocolate, this is a must.

Spice Musuem
Definitely worth a look.

Food Truck Market
Every Thursday there is a food truck markt at the Spielbudenplatz close to the Reeperbahn. Highly recommended in case you do not leave immediately after the conference closing.
